From a young age, I’ve been more comfortable with images than words. So I speak in a visual language, and offer the insights of my soul and lived experience through shapes and colors and symbols.

Physical appearance is just the opening layer of what I seek to express. The pieces that most excite me are those that capture the unique spirit, energy, light, and essence of each of my subjects.

I am moved by the natural forms of Nature, her land and plants and people— and other living creatures. I am inspired by symbols that convey deeper images— like the Tarot, religious iconography, architecture, design, and the work of other artists.
